The Rally starts on Saturday morning 21 August. There will be 8 stages run on Saturday - Bokspruit, Bottlenek, Clanville, Vaalhoek, Wartrail, Heuningneskloof,  Vaalhoek and Show Grounds.

10 radio marshals are required, 5 start of stage and 5 end of stage, stages 6 and 8 will be done by the marshals from stages 1 and 2. Stage 4 will be used twice. The Medical teams are all radio amateurs.

There is a chance that we will need a marshal to ride around with the media vehicle.

NOTE - A marshals meeting is scheduled for 17:30 CAT on Tuesday 17 August 2010 at the offices of Elektro Vroomen in Nelson Mandela Drive, Bloemfontein. The marshals will be getting their equipment and clocks. The radio marshals (who can) are asked to attend to get some training on the clocks and radio procedures). The marshals (radio and other) will receive an Osram cap and a pair of gloves.

Accomodation - The Rally Committee has booked the whole Mountain Shadows Hotel for the weekend. I need to know if you are willing to share a room, if you plan to bring extra people with - wife or girlfriend (not both). This will be paid for and includes breakfast on Saturday morning. If you are marshalling on Stage 1 or 2, you will get a breakfast parcel to eat there somewhere in the beautiful North Eastern Cape.

You are of course welcome to make your own arrangements if you have family or friends in the area. Just ensure that you are at your stage well on time.

Meals - On Friday evening 20 August 2010, the Barkly East Golf Club will provide dinner (braai) at a reasonable price. The bar prices are also normal - they do not try to rip you off like many establishments in Bloemfontein!!

     Saturday evening, I am sure they will supply their famous steak meal (last we paid R50). The 2009 Radio Marshal will agree the food is excellent and the people are extremely friendly.
